The sponsorship total has continued to rise thanks to some more amazing donations and we’re now over £3,300 including gift aid. The lovely folks at Local Giving are currently matching donations up to £10 so if you’re thinking of donating, you can make the money go further if you take advantage of this promotion. They’re donating £250k but when it’s gone, it’s gone. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated and you can do it via the sponsorship page.
I’m still on the look out for companies to get involved and there is still plenty of sponsor space available on the Do It For Dan clothing. If anyone knows anyone who would be interested there is plenty for the company to gain especially if they are interested in the mental wellbeing of their staff. Alternatively, if you run your own company there is an opportunity for you as well – just get in touch with me to find out more,
The next challenge is the Manchester Men’s Health Survival of the Fittest which is on 7 November and planning is underway for the final 2 challenges in the Do It For Dan year. Further details to be announced regarding the challenges and what else will be doing on before 19 January.
Following the success of Do It For Dan so far, I’ve decided to continue with it in the future to continue to try and raise awareness and funds for mental health issues. Next year will be scaled down in terms of the number of events but the challenges will still be there.
